Does Taylor Swift have something big planned for next year? That's what some fans are theorizing after her recent appearance on her boyfriend Travis Kelce's New Heights podcast.
The "Fortnight" singer made waves last week when she announced her 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl while appearing alongside her beau and his brother Jason Kelce on the August 13 episode of their podcast. However, some Swifities appear to believe that one conversation the trio had was a way to carefully hint that she could be performing in the Super Bowl Halftime Show, all because of Swift gushing over her new "obsession" of baking sourdough, per People.
On the podcast, Swift admitted that sourdough has "taken over my life in a huge way" and that she thinks about bread "60% of the time now."
"I'm just, like, always baking break and texting my friends and being like, 'Can I send you some bread? I need some feedback. Do you like this one better than you liked the other one? Like, I did the rise a little differently,'" she said.
So what does this have to do with the Super Bowl Halftime Show?
Super Bowl LX (60) will be held next year at the San Francisco 49ers' Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, and while this may appear innocuous, the 49ers' mascot is a gold miner named Sourdough Sam. Additionally, Swift thanked Jason for "screaming for like 47 seconds" earlier in the episode, which some fans think points to Swift's 47th Eras Tour stop, which happened to be at Levi's Stadium on June 29, 2023.
Swift has never headlined the Super Bowl halftime show despite being asked over the years. As of Monday (August 18), the Super Bowl LX halftime performer has not been announced.
