Drake and Adin Ross want to help cover the cost of a funeral service for a popular French streamer who died earlier this week.

On Monday afternoon, August 19, Ross took to X and spoke out about the death of Jean Pormanove — a 46-year-old streamer known for his controversial content on Kick. Pormanove, born Raphaël Graven, gained notoriety for his gaming livestreams, which also featured extreme challenges that left him “humiliated and mistreated," according to French government minister Clara Chappaz. Pormanove passed away in his sleep at the end of a 10-day marathon livestream with other men who found him “in a really weird position.”

"This is horrible and disgusting," Ross wrote on X. "Whoever was apart of this deserves to face severe consequences. I just spoke with drake. Drake and I will be covering the funeral costs , this won’t bring his life back, it’s the least we can do. Prayers go out to Jean’s family ❤️ 🙏"

Jean Pormanove built a following of over 500,000 people by posting cringeworthy content, which often made him the target of violence and disturbing pranks. In past clips from his livestreams, the late streamer would allow other men to hit, strangle and shoot him with a paintball gun. An investigation into Pormanove's death has been launched, and an autopsy was conducted. Despite Ross' assumption of foul play, French authorities have yet to find anything suspicious about the streamer's death.

"We are deeply saddened by the loss of Jeanpormanove and extend our condolences to his family, friends and community," a spokesperson for Kick told BBC. The streaming platform, which Drake and Ross use often, also said it will be "urgently reviewing” the details of Pormanove's death and their community guidelines.
