Young Thug is firing back at critics who've accused him of snitching after audio from an alleged conversation with law enforcement surfaced online.

On Wednesday, August 27, Thugger hopped on X to denounce the snitching allegations that have filled his mentions within the past 24 hours. Trolls and fans alike called the "Money On Money" rapper a rat after Thug appeared to name names during an interrogation with detectives during the YSL RICO investigation in 2022. During the chat, the Atlanta native seemingly referred to Peewee Roscoe while the cops asked about the infamous 2015 shooting involving Lil Wayne's tour bus.

"They said Roscoe, but I don't wanna block out y'all's case by saying Roscoe ain't do that," Thug said about an hour into the clip.

In response, Young Thug went on the offensive by addressing the rumors directly. "They didn’t play my interrogation video in court cause I helped my brada #Ratwhere?" Thug wrote in an X post. He also reposted Thugger Daily (the fan account that consistently provided updates during his YSL RICO trial), who noted that the district attorney working the case kept objecting to using video from the interrogation in court. In addition, he provided documentation from a motion his attorney made after a detective allegedly lied about him making a statement while in the back of a police car.

After the alleged audio leaked, Peewee Roscoe himself also responded to the snitching allegations against Thug. Roscoe was accused of shooting at Lil Wayne's tour bus in 2015 amid the rumored beef between Thugger and Weezy. Roscdefended Young Thug and asserted that he actually tried to help him.

"Jeff clean as Listerine, man," Roscoe said. "Clean as Ivory Soap, ya feel me? When you go into the interrogation room, that's what you do."

"He did what a tax-paying citizen do or real street n***a," he added. "Kept it solid. Kept it overly real. Really tried to pull me out the hole."

The alleged audio stunned fans of Thug, especially since he had took shots at Gunna for allegedly snitching. The Last Wun rapper had been under fire ever since he entered an Alford plea in the YSL RICO case. Upon his release from jail in 2022, Gunna was met with snitching allegations from trolls and previous collaborators like Lil Baby. Gunna's attorney maintained that the Atlanta artist did not participate or cooperate with authorities during the YSL trial, but that didn't stop trolls from dragging him.
