G Herbo returns with his most personal project thus far.
On Friday, the Chicago native delivered his anticipated album Lil Herb via Machine Entertainment/Uptown/Republic Records. The album begins with "Every Night," in which he reflects on being scarred for life after losing so many of his loved ones over the years. It continues with other impactful tracks like "Reason," with production by Don Cannon, "Radar" produced by Southside, and "Win Again," in which he reflects on bouncing back after going through so much. In addition, the album also comes with his major collaboration with Wyclef Jean where they sample the Fugees rapper's hit "911" as well as Jeremih, Anderson .Paak and more.
G Herbo opened up about making the album during his recent interview on The Breakfast Club. The discussion about his project inspired Charlamagne Tha God to ask Herb how he reacts to death, especially after he lost his father last year. He learned about his dad's death right before he appeared on the show.
G Herbo's "Thank Me" featuring Anderson .Paak sits near the top of iHeartRadio's Rap Rising playlist. The weekly round-up of the latest rap hits also features new songs by FERG, Tyler, The Creator, Offset and more. Press play up top to hear the playlist and scroll below for more new music.
