Tory Lanez and his attorney have been ordered to cough up some major coins after they failed to provide a legit deposition for Megan Thee Stallion's defamation case.

According to a report TMZ published on Monday, November 17, a judge found the imprisoned singer in contempt after he refused to sit down for a deposition with Megan Thee Stallion's attorneys. The "Whenever" rapper's legal team said they made three attempts to speak with Lanez ahead of Meg's defamation trial against blogger Milagro Gramz, but he was allegedly disrespectful every time they met with him.

Megan's attorneys' last attempt at a deposition with Lanez was reportedly chaotic, to say the least. They met with the artist and his lawyer, Crystal Morgan, on November 15. At one point during the conversation, Lanez walked out and allegedly cursed at them. Meg's lawyers also accused Morgan of failing to instruct her client to answer the questions properly. As a result, both Lanez and Morgan were found in contempt.

Lanez was hit with a $20,000 fine for obstructing Meg's legal team's multiple attempts to depose him. Meanwhile, Morgan was forced to pay $5,000 for her role in the obstruction and for failing to uphold professional standards during each attempt.

The ruling on Lanez and his lawyer was handed down right before Megan Thee Stallion's defamation trial against Milagro Gramz began in Miami. Megan told TMZ she just wants the trial to end already. Meanwhile, Milagro testified and reportedly looked nervous inside the courtroom. Gramz is accused of purposely spreading false information about Meg during her trial against Tory Lanez in 2022.
