Canadian actor Spencer Lofranco, best known for roles in Jamesy Boy and Gotti, has died at the age of 33, TMZ reports.
Lofranco's cause of death hasn't yet been determined and is currently under investigation in British Columbia. Lofranco's brother, Santino, confirmed his death in a post shared on his Instagram account Thursday (November 20).
"To the legend @roccowinning. My brother. You lived a life only some could dream of. You changed people lives, and now you are with God. I will always love you and miss you Bear. RIP. October 18, 1992 - November 18, 2025," Santino wrote.
Lofrano studied acting at the New York Film Academy as a teenager before landing his first role in At Middleton in 2013, playing Conrad Hartman, a high school senior touring a college campus in the indie romantic comedy working alongside Andy García and Vera Farmiga.
Lofranco later played John Gotti Jr. in the 2018 biopic, Gotti, which starred John Travolta as the late mob boss opposite his late wife, Kelly Preston, who played Victoria DiGiorgio Gotta. Lofranco was also credited for roles in the 2014 film Unbroken starring Angelina Jolie; the 2015 short film Home; the 2015 film Dixieland and the 2016 film King Cobra.
“I want to do real-life, candid films,” Lofranco said during an interview while promoting Unbroken via the New York Post. “I don’t want to be thrown into anything that could jeopardize my career. I want to be wise about what I choose. Actors whose choices I’ve liked are Sean Penn, Leonardo DiCaprio, River Phoenix.”
