Megan Thee Stallion shed some tears while testifying about how the false stories Milagro Gramz helped spread impacted her life during her defamation trial in Miami.
The Houston rapper took the witness stand on Thursday, November 20, to tell jurors about the mental anguish she experienced after Tory Lanez shot her in the foot in 2020. According to TMZ, Meg was shown a clip from a documentary she did with the nonprofit organization, Never A Bother, while she was being questioned about the night of the shooting. Her eyes began to swell with tears as she told jurors that she knew what it felt like to "not want to live anymore."
From there, Megan Thee Stallion detailed the anxiety she felt after Milagro Gramz shared fake information that she allegedly got from Tory Lanez. She said she battled all sorts of rumors before, during and after the trial, including one that Gramz's camp brought up earlier in the week. Meg denied the rumor that she was having a romantic relationship with her former manager, Travis Farris. Farris also denied the rumor during his testimony this week.
Megan was also questioned about the surgery she had on the night of the shooting. The Grammy Award-winning artist explained that she had to go under the knife to remove the bullet fragments from her feet. She also discussed how she felt when Milagro and Tory Lanez spread a false narrative that she wasn't shot at all.
A certified psychologist previously testified that Meg had been diagnosed with PTSD following the shooting. While on the stand, Megan told the jury that she checked herself into a medical facility to undergo Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She explained that the pricy treatment teaches you where to store trauma in your brain. She said the four-week program cost her $240,000.
Megan Thee Stallion sued Milagro Gramz last October. She claimed Gramz conspired with Tory Lanez to spread false stories about her during her trial against the singer in 2022. She alleged that the social media blogger was paid by Lanez and his father, Sonstar Peterson, to post fake content about her, including a deepfake pornographic clip.
