A$AP Rocky seems to have revealed a new date for his long-awaited album Don't Be Dumb.
During his headlining set on Sunday, November 23, the New York native arrived at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles while riding a helicopter with the title of his next album on it. After he descended upon the stage, Rocky took off his plaid jacket and revealed a number on the sleeve of his right arm. The number reads, "01162026," which fans believe means January 16, 2026. The album would arrive a year and a half after his original due date, but some fans aren't truly convinced.
A$AP Rocky has been teasing the album for several years at this point. After months of keeping fans on their toes, Rocky finally confirmed a release date last summer during his AWGE fashion show. He originally set it for August 23, but he pushed it back and never announced another date — until now. Despite all the excitement around the new date, some fans believe he may be trolling fans. The new release date, January 16, lands on "National Nothing Day," leading some critics to think it's a pump-fake, especially after Rocky recently joked the album wasn't dropping.
"Don't Be Dumb... never dropping," Rocky said in The People Gallery's recent vlog. “They gon’ kill us for that one."
The A$AP Mob rapper's fourth studio album has apparently been done for some time. He shared the album's latest single, "Highjack," featuring Jessica Pratt and dropped the music video for "Tailor Swif," which received a Grammy nomination for Best Music Video. Rocky performed both songs during his Camp Flog Gnaw set along with "RIOT (Rowdy Pipe'n"), which will also appear on the album. He brought out Ty Dolla $ign and Tommy Revenge to deliver their unreleased song "December 31st." Rocky also invited Tyler, The Creator to the stage, who performed "Potato Salad" and "Who Dat Boy" with him.
