Immensely popular with Latter-day Saints, the duo Afterglow had humble beginnings in a suburb of Salt Lake City, Utah. The duo actually began as a quartet that included two each of male and female voices. The quartet began performing while they were juniors in high school in Pleasant Grove, Utah. They quickly became popular, performing throughout the area and recording two tapes under the name Afterglow. Then the boys left for their missions abroad and the quartet disbanded.
