Biography
Hailing from Greenville, North Carolina, Alan Cox makes contemporary Christian music with alt-rock and blues-rock influences. Cox began writing music in his early teens, and started working on his first album while still in high school. After assembling a group of guitarists, a rhythm section, and a violist, he recorded Rise Up in February and March of 2017, self-releasing it that May. He followed it four months later with the acoustic EP The Heart: Acoustic Sessions, Vol. 1. ~ Marcy Donelson
