Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper B-Will was an early protégé of better-known area rapper Boosie Badazz. Upon his 2013 release from prison, Badazz (sometimes known as Lil' Boosie before getting locked up) began scouting out new talent for Badazz Music Syndicate, a label he started before his incarceration that would grow into a collective of Louisiana's best street-bred rappers.
