Barbie Boy

Formed in 2010 and initially known as Poban, Barbie Boy is a Mexican happy punk band, a genre that blends punk's manic energy with pop's trivial lyrics. The group issued its first demo Saka la Fiesta in 2012, but spent the following years trying to consolidate its lineup and sound. Barbie Boy's first album, Los Cuentos del Tío Cornelio, appeared in 2015.
