Biography
A Paris-born, Queens-based rapper, Bas is known for his thoughtful and versatile wordplay. Although he started rapping as a lark, within a decade he became a central member of the Dreamville roster with Top 20 R&B/hip-hop-charting albums like 2014's Last Winter, 2016's Too High to Riot, and 2018's Milky Way, the latter of which also reached number 35 on the Billboard 200. Spilled Milk, Vol. 1 (the first of a series of EPs) arrived in 2019, the same year he earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance for his contribution to the song "Down Bad" featuring J. Cole, JID, Ea...
