This guitarist and songwriter was a founding member of the '80s band Crimson Glory, a progressive metal combo that evolved out of an earlier unit called Beowulf. According to band legend, some four years were spent carefully growing music, image, and stage posture; in 1986 a self-titled debut album was plucked off the tree.
