Bicycle Thief

Named for Vittorio De Sica's groundbreaking movie, The Bicycle Thief formed when singer/songwriter/guitarist Bob Forrest's previous group Thelonious Monster disbanded. Though Forrest considered giving up the performing side of the music industry, friends in the LA music scene encouraged him to keep writing and playing songs. He collaborated with Josh Klinghoffer and the duo were signed by Goldenvoice, a local music promotion firm who had recently started a label.
