Bike Routes

Bike Routes is the name used by David Lawrence Osterhout, a South Jersey-based singer/songwriter whose emo-leaning indie rock bears traces of folk, alt pop, and pop-punk. After starting out as an acoustic act in high school, Osterhout developed a more robust sound on releases like 2022's Love Is an Action and the 2024 EP Rush of Energy, his label debut for Blue Grape Music. The EP was seen as Bike Routes' breakout, thanks in part to its punchy single "World Apart."
