Pianist Bobby Gosh got his start when his quickly developed talents scored him a touring gig with singer Kitty Kallen at the age of 16. Moving from Reading, Pennsylvania to New York City, he studied at Juilliard and performed in nightclubs until meeting lyricist Sammy Cahn at a gig one night. The two hit it off and began writing songs together, which led to a meeting with Paul Anka. The two instantly became friends, leading to Gosh hiring on as Anka's pianist and co-writer.
