Cessna's quirk of heartfelt guitar pop stuck out amongst the surrounding popularity of Finland's black metal scene when they debuted with the 1997 EP Holiday On Ice. Following that year with a double three-inch CD entitled Bordeaux, Sami (vocals/guitar), Jani (drums), Tomi (guitar) and Kimmo (bass) backed up their released with a tour of Europe that lasted until 1998. Upon their return home, Cessna recorded the My Blue Anglia EP before Television Song came out a year later. ~ Mike DaRonco
