Southern rap duo Charlie Boy Gang (Deondre Thomas aka Pimpin Duke and Ronnie Welch aka Mechie Man) scored a huge regional dance hit during the early 2010s with "Beef It Up," an ode to cruising around the duo's hometown of Scottdale, Georgia.
