Chuy Montana

A talented singer of corridos bélicos and corridos tumbados, Chuy Montana's promising career was cut short by his untimely death. Born Jesús Norberto Cárdenas in 1999, he grew up under the spell of the new generation of Mexican regional songwriters. By his late teens he was performing regularly as a street singer at Tijuana's border crossing and he caught the attention of Fuerza Regida's Jesus Ortiz.
