Made up of ex-members of Shopping, the Royal We, Anxiety, and other D.I.Y. projects, Current Affairs is a post-punk band that underscores its sound with elements of goth, icy synth pop, and new wave. After a few early releases and a personnel shift, a new lineup produced the exciting and erratic sounds of 2023's Off the Tongue, the band's first proper full-length.
