Dark Nova

Greek heavy metal band Dark Nova were originally founded as Dark Devils in 1987, and proceeded to experiment with a mixture of progressive metal and classical music on their first demos and their eventual debut album, The Dark Rhapsodies, released in 1993. Poor distribution and little promotional support from their domestic record label soon led to hard times for the group, however, and following a compilation appearance, in years to come Dark Nova would mostly subsist as an on-call support act for visiting metal luminaries like Testament, Rage, and Fates Warning.
