Seattle-based composer David Mahler works with tape to create unique, sometimes humorous works, from teaching the theme song to The Mickey Mouse Club backwards ("Speech With Interpreter"), to parodying text-sound composition and its Swedish roots in "(Singing in the Style Of) The Voice of the Poet," his most acclaimed composition.
