David Otero

Following in the footsteps of his cousin Dani, David Otero is the second member of Spanish power pop outfit El Canto del Loco to pursue a solo career after their 2009 self-imposed hiatus. That hugely successful band scored four number one albums and 11 chart-topping singles during the 2000s, one of which ("Despiertame") Otero penned. Showcasing a more experimental side and flirting with electronica, indie pop, and folk, he released his debut solo album, Nada Lógico, under the guise of El Pescao in 2010.
