Practically born to thrash, Diamond Plate were formed in 2004 in the Chicago suburb of Worth, Illinois. Though just teenagers when the band came together, the trio's sound was rooted in the classic thrash metal sound of the '80s, borrowing from masters of the genre like Metallica and Anthrax to help revive the sound decades later.
