Egebamyasi

b. c.1958, Edinburgh, Scotland. Mr Egg is a bald Scot and former plumber who took the name for his techno operation from a Can album. The group began as a band back in the mid-80s, touring a tacky cabaret show with on-stage S&M and a papier-mâché penis which squirted shaving foam. Despite such antics, he built his reputation with a series of increasingly successful acid tracks. These include the Indigestion EP (1991) and ‘Highblow' (Groove Kissing 1991), though the then-group's career had first begun way back in 1986 with ‘Circumstances' on Survival.
