Finding Ways

Finding Ways is drummer and musical chameleon Sebastian Rochford's rockist, vanguard jazz outfit. He and bassist Anders Christensen are constants, as are guitarists Tara Cunningham and David Preston. This project was initiated to find a way through the profound changes Rochford experienced following the death of his poet father Gerard. Its raw, effectless (no effects pedals of any kind) sound is built on "layered guitars and raw emotion," melding alt and indie rock with modern jazz.
