Originally from London, GhostChant (Joe Cornwell) is a Liverpool-based musician and DJ who produces chilling, haunted U.K. garage reminiscent of artists such as Burial. His tracks blend melancholic atmospheres with brisk, galloping beats, and often feature echoing vocal samples or guest singers. Cornwell grew up listening to punk and hardcore before becoming entranced by garage and dubstep, citing Zed Bias and MJ Cole as influences.
