British-born, Australian-raised musician Peter Harper -- known simply as Harper -- began touring the U.S. in the mid-'90s, offering up a very distinctive take on the blues. Already a renowned songwriter and harmonica player with several albums to his credit, Harper's incorporation of the aboriginal didgeridoo and tribal rhythms gave his music an unusual worldly flair.
