Twelve-piece Swedish ska-punk outfit Hoffmaestro first came onto the public radar in 2005 when they wrote and directed the independent film Stockholm Boogie, for which they also supplied the soundtrack. The film became a cult favorite and their song "Desperado" was a hit.
