Biography
Upon the 1997 break-up of The Cynics, vocalist Michael Kastelic moved on to front Honeyburst with the help of ex-Heretics guitarist Mike Michalski. Along with Smith Hutchings (bass) and Jon Couch (drums), the eventual hybrid of 60s garage sleaze and '77 punk was imported to their hometown of Pittsburgh. Their first full-length Live At Nietzche's was self-issued in 1998, followed by the 1999 EP Paint on Get Bent Records. ~ Mike DaRonco
