Jorge e Mateus are a Brazilian sertanejo duo who made their album debut with Ao Vivo em Goiânia in 2007. Founded in 2005 in Itumbiara, Goiás, Brazil, the duo comprises Jorge Alves Barcelos (born August 27, 1982) and Mateus Pedro Liduário de Oliveira (born July 15, 1984). After a couple years of live performances, Jorge e Mateus signed a recording contract with Universal Music and made their full-length album debut with the Ao Vivo em Goiânia CD/DVD in 2007.
