Kalimete

Also famous as a tennis player, Kalimete is a merengue vocalist from the Dominican Republic who made his debut in 2002 with the single "Dominicano de Pura Cepa." Born Ramfis Reyes in Azua, Dominican Republic, he began his musical career as a vocalist alongside his brother Gary in the group L.G. Connection. In 2002 he made his full-length solo album debut with Kalimete, followed by Código 5 in 2003.
