Kevin Borich

b. New Zealand. Regarded as one of his continent's leading guitarists, Borich came to prominence in Australia with the New Zealand band La De Das in 1976. After a tour of the UK in 1980, several members left, leaving Borich as lead guitarist in a trio that he eventually renamed the Kevin Borich Express. The Express earned a reputation as one of the hardest-working groups in the country, touring and playing incessantly.
