Kika Edgar, also known as simply Kika, is a Latin pop singer from Mexico who began her career as a television actress. Born Sandra Érika Edgar on January 9, 1985, in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, she began appearing on television around the turn of the century in shows such as Primer Amor. She established herself as a singer in 2006 as a contestant on the Pop Idol-style television show Cantando por un Sueño, on which she competed as part of a duo.
