Kris Tyler

b. c. 1969, Omaha, Nebraska, USA. Although interested in singing country music from an early age, Tyler's first job in showbusiness was as a television producer. This was at KNXV-TV, Phoenix, Arizona, where she worked on news programmes. Meanwhile, she was writing songs and after encouragement from singers Mary Chapin Carpenter and Trisha Yearwood, and Bo Goldsen of Criterion Records, she signed with Rising Tide Records, who released an EP featuring ‘I'm In Trouble Now'.
