Violinist Kristin Lee turned a series of strong competition showings into a growing career as a soloist and chamber musician. Her repertoire is expansive, but she notably champions new music, including the Violin Concerto of Vivian Fung; the concerto was written for Lee, who recorded it for a 2012 album of Fung's music.
