Medina is a chart-topping electro-pop singer known in her native Denmark for confident yet warm songs about navigating modern life and relationships, as well as the dancefloor. She broke through to mainstream success in 2009 with her second album, the number two-charting Velkommen til Medina, whose lead single, "Kun for Mig," was far and away the biggest hit of the year in Denmark.
