Miss Black America

This UK indie band was heralded in some quarters as the new Manic Street Preachers upon the release of their 2002 debut, God Bless Miss Black America, owing in no small part to their penchant for provocative sloganeering. The nucleus of the Suffolk-based band is Seymour Glass (vocals/guitar), Mickey Smith (bass), and Neil Baldwin (drums), all of whom supposedly first met at a drum ‘n' bass night in Cambridge.
