The emotional alternative rock of Brooklyn's North Sea Story first came together in 1997. Graphic designer by day Chris Standish (or Dish as he prefers) formed the original lineup with Paul Fitzgerald, Rance Piatt, and Dave Brown, and recorded a demo with Charles Bissell of the Wrens. After recording their debut, Working for Wellness, Dave Brown quit and the band hit the road as a three-piece.
