Otile Brown

Singer and songwriter Otile Brown's smooth, rhythmic style draws from contemporary R&B, Bongo, reggae, and Afropop traditions. His first collection, Best of Otile Brown, appeared in 2017. His official full-length debut, Just in Love, followed in 2020. Born Jacob Otieno Obunga in Kisumu, Kenya and raised mostly in Mikindani, Brown started writing songs while in his early teens. Using the stage alias Otile Brown, he had his first radio hit with 2016's "Imaginary Love," featuring rapper Khaligraph Jones.
