Pierdavide Carone is an Italian pop singer/songwriter who rose to fame on the reality television show Amici di Maria de Filippi prior to making his chart-topping album debut with Una Canzone Pop in 2010. Born on June 30, 1988, in Rome, he won third place on the ninth season of Amici di Maria de Filippi, which aired during 2009-2010, finishing behind first-place winner Emma Marrone and second-place runner-up Loredana Errore.
