South Central rapper Kenneth "Poppa LQ" Green got his introduction to the rap game by releasing his first CD, Notes of a Native Son, on Island Records in 1989, and his second solo disc, Your Entertainment My Reality, in 1995. Between solo sessions, Poppa LQ spent time hanging out with heavy hitters like Tech N9ne, Yukmouth, and fellow Regime rapper Mad Maxx, among many other rap luminaries.
