Irish quintet the Rapport sport a rougher edge than the more manicured likes of the Arctic Monkeys or Kaiser Chiefs, but at heart, their music is a similar updating of '90s Brit-pop mixed with dashes of new wave flash and garage rock aggression. The Rapport are based in Dundalk, the seat of county Louth near the border with Northern Ireland, a city better known as the hometown of beloved folk-pop family act the Corrs.
