Redeye was formed in 1970 by guitarist Douglas ‘Red' Mark, a former member of the Los Angeles, USA, pop psychedelic group Sunshine Company. Mark teamed with David Hodgkins (guitar/vocals), Bill Kirkham (bass) and Bobby Bereman (drums). The rock group signed to the small Pentagram label and released the single ‘Games' in late 1970; it eventually landed in the Top 30 nationally.
