Biography
West Coast vocalist Rose Banks enjoyed sporadic success in the '70s and '80s. She signed with Motown in the mid-'70s and recorded the LP Rose in 1976. One single, "Whole New Thing," made the lower reaches of the R&B charts. Some 12 years later, Banks was one of the vocalists on Quincy Jones' LP Back on the Block. ~ Ron Wynn
