Biography
Singer/songwriter Rustie Blue began her love affair with country music at the age of eight, singing in numerous county fairs around her native southeastern Ohio. Genetically predestined to the genre -- she's related to Merle Travis through her grandmother Lila Jane Travis -- Blue released her debut record (That Oughta Do It) in 2001. The album won her a small but devoted following and opened her up to the mainstream, specifically Europe, as her second release, the bluesy Enter at Your Own Risk, charted overseas.
