Royal Oak, MI, metal outfit Scorch distinguish themselves for their use of three drummers -- Dave Arvo, Shawn Farrell, and Todd Wolfe -- to back up all-around mastermind Russ Meuchel (vocals, guitar, bass, songwriter, producer). Not quite death metal, not quite nu-metal, but a little bit of both and more (glimpses of death and power metal also crop up), the band self-produced, recorded, and released its debut album, Faces, in 2003. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
