Not to be confused with Sulene Fleming of Brand New Heavies and Dimitris & Sulene, Sulene is short for Brooklyn-based musician Sulene van der Walt. Making anthemic indie pop as a solo artist, she's also worked under her full name as a film/TV composer and as a touring guitarist for acts including Nate Ruess, Betty Who, and Candy Hearts.
