The Bleachers

The Las Vegas-based indie rock band the Bleachers had their beginning when guitarists Joe Maloney and Marco Brizuela met and became friends in 1999. In 2002, they formed the Bleachers as a duo and played in that format through 2003. During this period, they recorded a self-titled acoustic EP, released in 2002. At the end of 2003, the band doubled in size with the addition of multi-instrumentalist Kirk Petersen and drummer David Hines.
